Avala
The only known gathering place in Alder Woods is Avala, forged by those known as the ‘lost tribe.’ Common stories shared among the young speak of an unforgiving ancient forest, deadly plants, and ‘dogs of Orrimorn.’ These are the wolves of the lowlands on the southwestern corner of Rylie Glen that hunt in the Alder Woods.
Marvis Addewid, one of the Bon Abbi councilmen, and leader of Henley, the last burg in the Bon Abbi territories, befriends Renner and Louie of Avala over time. The men bring herbs and plants in containers, already processed for medicinal purposes, to trade for things they cannot find in Alder Woods, primarily hardware to build their homes high above forest grounds.
